USA Karate May 29, 2008

JAKE LEASE IS MOVING TO COLORADO SPRINGS TO WORK AT THE USA-NKF HEADQUARTERS

Mr. Lease has been promoted to Director Membership Services and Event Coordinator.

Jake Lease a 28-year-old native of Cross Lanes, West Virginia, a suburb of Charleston is relocating to Colorado Springs. He is a graduate of West Virginia University Institute of Technology. Since September 2006 he has worked for the USA National Karate-do Federation as Executive Administrative Assistant. He has been the Program Director for USA Martial Arts since 2001 where he also has worked as an instructor. He holds black belts in Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, Jujitsu, Aikido, and Iaido.

He would like to contribute to the continued growth of the USA-NKF as we move karate more to the status of other NGB sports, making sure we do not lose our traditional roots that make us an art and a sport. This was a difficult decision for him to leave his two families, his relatives and his martial arts family. He has worked on staff at USA Martial arts for the past 15 years.
