Athlete Election Procedure
According to the USANKF bylaws section 10, the voting for the NKF athlete director will be a two step process. The eligible athletes of the NKF will vote for the USANKF Athlete Advisory Council which will consist of 7 members. Two members have already been appointed to the council: Clay Morton who is the USOC Athlete Advisory Council representative for karate and Elisa Au-Fonseca who is the USOC Athlete Advisory Council alternate. The federation will start an election process for the five remaining spots on this council. Once the seven athletes have been seated, they will vote among themselves for the athlete director position.
Eligibility
See the USANKF bylaws section 10.
